where are the grape black rats?

OK, I have to ask. What is a Grape Black Rat? Don't tell me that they are dark blue. Do you have a picture?

I've only seen photos of them and to me they they're a dark - very dark, but not black snake. If you squint they might look purpleish... That's what I saw a photo of that was called a grape black rat.

Sort of like a very dark TX rat to me.

Back in the late 60's, I collected a Black Rat from outside of Richmond Va. that was dark brown in color (this was an adult snake). I wonder if this "Grape" Black Rat is nothing more then a hypomelanistic Black Rat. I would still like to see a picture of one of these animals. A blue colored Black Rat would be something out of the ordinary. But unlike many on this forum, I like wild types and would only want to see a photo of such a snake.
