Howdy all!!
My female Leo, Delphi, started laying eggs back in June. I missed seeing her first clutch as she prefers to lay in the humid hide, or under the water dish. The second clutch and up to the latest, her 5th clutch, I was able to retrieve them all. One of the eggs from her second clutch was bad, but the other kept getting bigger and bigger. Well, this afternoon, around 3:00 pm MDT, the little guy hatched.!! Unfortunately I was out bike riding and missed the event, but when I returned there he/she was. She initially hissed and "chirped" at me, seeing me for the first time, but then she calmed down and I got some pics of him/her. He/she is about 20 minutes out of the egg here. The other 6 eggs are doing well so far, and I think she is preparing to lay yet another clutch, her 6th.
Hope you enjoy.
Scott
