I need to know how old u think my collareds are. When should i separate them since they r both males? What is a collared lizard's size-age ratio? Are mine looking healthy?
They r about 3.5in. without the tail. Here r some pictures...Thankx for your time....8) (Spiderman-top, Venom-bottom)

hey there,
by your pics they seem to be good and healthy with nice chunky legs. now as far as keeping two males together---what i have found is that as long as you dont have a female in that cage they might be alright.but it sounds like they are just coming in to breeding age by the sound of their size so you need to keep an eye on those two because one of them might try to dominate the other and stress the other out . you will know when this happens cause there will be lots of head bobbing and chasing around the cage.at this point they need to be seperated. also note that if one of them tries to dominate one of them might try to mock mate with the other!!!freaky.
now i keep three males together only when they are not breeding because there is just to much testosterone in there and they fight.depending on who you talk to say never,some say its ok.you need to use your judgment in this case.if they get along i wouldnt see a problem with it but be cautious they will let you know if there is a problem. hope it helps see ya.

Thanx a lot i have another question..sorry... my cage is looking kinda dull and boring can you give me any ideas, and what size cage do u recommend me have for these 2? and i have seen spiderman try to mate with venom, but only once, other than that they get a long just fine.

they both look good. um as far as keeping them together i wouldn't chance it. i've seen where people keep more than one male in the same cage even without females and they both look horrible. just to competition over food alone can do damage. if you're going to keep them together then you should keep a close eye on them...
