I have a couple females i wanted to breed this year. I had one male that bred 1 of them constantly. After a few days rest i placed him in with on of my other females and he had no interest, so i put him in with one of the other females and she got pissed. She started thrashing about and was trying to smush him. Is this very common?? I removed him immediately. Would she hurt him. Thanks in advance.

Te last female might be a male and they will combat during breeding times. Also, I have had the female reject te male initially in the past and then accept him, but I woud make sure the last female is not a male.

She was popped as a hatchling by 2 people and was probed at about 1 year and 18 months.

I had one of those...popped by people that knew what they are doing...probed later on to be female....it wasn't (really short hemipenes?)...check again....gl

I popped my snake today and 2 sperm plugs came out........i raised it for almost 2 years thinking it was a female!!! Well guess that just gives me a reason to buy another snake!

They can be very...um..."not well hung". Males can have very short hemipenes that make them appear female when popped/probed.

I have never ever seen a female and male fight like that -- only males. It's a territorial breeding thing -- I would have that snake re-sexed.

Make sure you probe both sides!
