with out a doubt go with a retic, and if you looking for the best temperment and your are restricted to only one then the titanium tiger is the only way to go they are sooo sweet and mellow as can be, good luck ,jim....

if you haven't had either one yet, you are better off with a burm... retic is not something to just go for unless you are sure you can handle one... tey are not like other big constrictors as they actually seem to have intelligence... Mine are all dog tame, but I know better then to trust them as if they were dogs... if you make that kind of mistake even once, it can cost you great pain, or even you life... Not to scare you away, but just to make sure you are aware of what they are capable of... they can be just as calm and mellow as a burm, as mine never strike or hiss or anything, but if you make the mistake of ever thinking they can change their mind or be in a bad mood like any other animal, you will pay for it... besides the fact that when they are mellow, they are just as big and slow and harmless looking as any other big snake, but unlike other big snakes like anacondas or burms, when the retic does go, their speed and ferocity is mind blowing... a burm is slower and you have more time to react.. before you react with a retic, it's already over... my point is, be sure you can handle a retic before you try a retic... second chances don't always happen... these are the kings of all snakes for a reason.. don't forget it... but if you can handle them, RETIC HANDS DOWN!!! They Are Just Plain AWESOME!!!!!!!!
