What are captive born babies worth if there parents are wild caught?
$150
or £150 ($250) if your in the UK

I really think both prices are too low, but that is just my opinion. I don't think any tortoise should be sold for under $500, to limit buyers to those who are truely serious and are not just looking for a throw away pet.
I'll second that, I'm on a roll at the moment, lets jack the price up a few hundred bucks...

Isn't the market "closed" in the UK for any new imports? If this is the case, you could charge higher prices.
So you guys are tellin me to sell them up to 4-5hundred?Maybe I will get a few more breeders. They only cost like $60 for an adult pair.
Thanx a bunch.
Oh I remember the good ol' days of imported birds also. The highest price on a parrot was $275 for a Double yellow head amazon. Most conures sold for 3/$18.00 ($9 each). These prices are long gone, and are replaced with birds that costs hundreds and thousands. The same will happen to reptiles, just wait and see. those imports will not last forever.
It's pretty messed up thats why I am stockin up on my breeders now that way I dont have to worry about payin so much for all these animals?I am only 15 and yet I have a little business in my area sellin animals.Cant wait till the imports are worth more to be able to give my breeders better set ups and stuff like that.
