RaffertyReptiles Aug 24, 2003 06:23 PM

are cucumbers and tomatoes good for beardies cause i just mixed together a salad of endive, romaine and carrots and i was wondering if cucumbers and tomatoes are good as well to mix in or are they harmful or just not nutricious?

I wouldn't feed tomato. Tomato should be fed never or rarely. Will not kill it but is not a good choice. Very high in oxalates with bind calcium. Cucumber is very high water, and very low nutrients. Great site to get info on foods or some foods that you might think to feed is www.beautifuldragons.com. What is red never feed what is blue rarely they have a legend all that is there is not good to feed.
