Happy Rescue

burmeseman07 Nov 29, 2007 05:02 PM

In on July 2 of this year I rescued a 7'1 albino green burmese python. He was not doing to well and need lots of medical attention. He had upper respritory infection, mites, mouth rot, dehydrated, skinny, and a bad rat bite wound on his side. He had over $500 of vet bills and medication. After a long month at the vet, he finally came home. He still needed some shots that I gave him at home, but he looked 100% better. Since 5 months ago he has made a full recovery and is happy in his new home with his girlfriend. He is still a little skinny for the 7' 5" of burmese python that he is but will hopefully thicken up with time. Since I have rescued him he has gone to schools 3 different times to make apearences and haw another appearence scheduled for next week. He is a beautiful snake a sweetheart, I belive he knows that I helped him, and he shows all the students, teachers, and parents how nice snakes can be. This Is Slim Jim 5 months after I rescued him.

Poor guy. He's really pretty even if he is a skinny guy though
