I have them all in a 4x4x3(approx) cage in the shade of an oak where they get dappled sun. it is stuffed with branches and vines. I just put half a cantelope in the cage every weak or so, breeds and attracts ff by the hundreds. I go to a feild every day or so and just sweep the grass with a butterfly net then feed the larger ghoppers to the big chams and dump everything else in the cage. Usually consists of small caterpillars, lots of small green grasshoppers, hundreds of tree or leaf-hoppers and tiny spiders. I also have a bucket with rotten meat (someone told me not to do this, but it works for me so far) which attracts all kinds of flys, especially greenbottle, which the bigger babies absolutley love. I just put a lid on it then open it at the chams cage door and let them all in.I also put pieces of apple or other fruit around the cage to attract ff. At night I put a light on them for a few hours andlots and lots of small bugs get in and they eat them too. The mesh of the cage is about a quarter inch so bugs can get in.
>>they are all housed separatly how are you babies housed and why arent they dieng like mine what am i doing wrong i dont think it is the temp because it gets about 80 degrees at the hottest and propally usually around 75 degrees. what do u feed urs.
