It depends on genes and how you raise it, german giants can be 13 " at 3 months.

Some of it has to do with the enviroment and food but most of it depends on the genetics. My beardie will be 3-months-old on Wednesday and she's already 13". I bought her from Dragons By Nature (you can go to their web site to check out her parents www.dragonsbynature.com)
I've seen some that have been the same age but a lot smaller than she is so she may just be a freak thing!
