What do you think.....

JoshMolone Nov 29, 2007 07:54 PM

As you all know (I think) I bought a 100% het Bugandy Ball python.... Do you think I got scammed or something. The person I bought it from said he bought it from another person that he got directly from Ralph Davis. Oh, and I looked on Ralph's web site and he did get Bugandys Poss. het Arctic. Thats what the guy told me. I wasn't sure about it, so I checked myse4lf . What do you guys think? Honest opnions... Here are some pics of him. He said he is like a visual het.

Thanks
(He's a proven breeder)

Three points:

1. (and foremost) Burgandy is a supposedly a simple recessive-it doesn't have "visual hets".

2. If it originally came from Ralph Davis-where is the paperwork?

3. It looks like a normal.

So I'm skeptical.

He isn't going to know it's his just from looking at it. He produces a LOT of babies.

Jen you are wrong about that. Ralph has photo and written records on every animal he has ever produced. Also on Every Animal he has sold. So ask Ralph if he has info. on the guy you bought it from( If he is the original buyer) and then Ralph should be able to track down a picture of the exact animal in question. You should then be able to match your snake up to the pics to see if it's the same animal.
