Just two little boas...

AbsoluteApril Nov 30, 2007 11:58 AM

TGIF all!
Just a few quick shots I took last night. Sadly I am still learning with this camera and the others ones got washed out by the flash. Drat! I'll take more of the prettier litter mates this weekend.
From my '06 hypo harli x Zahara litter
"Redboy" one of my keepers, his color is much richer than it shows in the pic, one of these days I'll capture it!

One of the more normal looking harlis, nice washed out black just like mom:

And of course, my favorite pic of Zahara, mom, is below.
Have a wonderful weekend all!

come out like?

About 1/2 were hypos?

I'm curious, next year I'll try & breed my female hypo harlequin
with my stripeline albino. I'm afraid I may end up keeping most
of them. All of the hypo harlequins I've seen so far look very
nice...

I had the perfect ratio! 18 babies (no slugs, stills) 9 hypos and 9 normals. It was Zahara's first litter (she's a '98). It was a breeding loan with Tim (Rainshadow), so half the babies went back to him. Out of my 9, so far, I'm planning on keeping 4 of them. It's hard to choose!
This is Puzzle, my pick of the litter:

Here's the litter 24 hrs after birth (Puzzle is up along the top):

I have a male from your litter. A verrry sweet looking boa.

The mother is really impressive.

COOL! I'd love to see pics, I still have all the baby pics and it's neat seeing them grow up.

No full stripers tho. I have pics of the dad too somewhere, he had a fully striped tail, was a smokin' hypo harli.
Here's his tail wrapped around Zahara.

those hypo harly's are awesome April. Mom is so clean and beautiful and the temporary boyfriend was a great match with that color. Hope they grow up and make you proud

I was lazy getting the pics!
I'll have more later this week, some of the litter mates make the ones I posed look very average.
