Where's 'at damn book, Dusty?

GRich Nov 30, 2007 07:55 PM

Man, I can't wait until the Trans-Pecos book comes out. All the info I have is in bits and pieces. For example: Dusty you've said that one should leave the baby T-Ps alone for a while, but for how long? I have to get them out once a week to clean their boxes, but I'm starting to let them slide for longer because of their behavior.

Mine were born on the 08th & 09th of October and are turning into mean, and I mean mean, little boogers. They are acting like my leucistic rat snake babies. I thought these snakes were the most docile of all NorAm rat snakes.

I couldn't get the open mouth strike shot, because my camera sucks, but it's there in the meta-photo. Check it out.

Hey Gregg, I tell ya', writing a book is truly the gift that keeps on giving. It seems like it will never end. And if you ever write a book that begins with the words, "The Complete...", well...let me put it this way, you guys are getting every ounce and then some of this book's namesake. We're looking at late Feb. for the premier.

Do what ya gotta do. I make that statement for people who never want to put their snake back in its cage. And as far as being docile, I don't think that ANY species of baby ratsnakes are anything other than little snappy hotheads. It's the adult TPRS that gets the docile award.

Cheers!

Man, you got that one right! Naturally for me though, all my adult T-Ps are head shy.

I can't wait for that dang book o' yourin to come out. I want mine auto-scribbled, if you don't mind. In the meantime, I'll just deal with these youngins like all my others.

Thanks.
