why are ball python morphs so expensive compared to other species morphs? Is it they are just all reletively new?

Supply and demand.

Ball pythons have much smaller clutches than say a burm. And time to raise your animals to breeding weight. And yes, ball python morphs are relatively new (within the last 10-12 years).

As more combos are produced, the more the demand goes up for the animals required to make that morph.

And "expensive" is relative to what you are willing to pay.
