today. found out my prospective adoption fell through. they gave her to someone else. so i guess it's no BCI for me, atleast for a while. my girlfriend coulfn't be happier though. i was getting excited about it too. but i suppose i could take in one of the other snakes people keep trying to give me, except the fact that one of them is a 5' yearling burm (i hate when pet shops sell them to inexperienced people who have no clue), and not only do i not have the space for her, she's aggresive and of course my girlfriend would shoot my a$$ for bringing her home. but i have a friend who might take her in. i could take the ball python i was offered too, but i'm not swining to THAT dark side (unless it was piedball, lol). i suppose i'll have to wait till my friend has a litter of BCC from his pair this season, lol. maybe i cab sugar up the girlfriend enough by them to let me get another snake (she thinks 5 is too many, lol). and of course here's the best thing about today, i had some idiot back into my car then take off. he busted out my passenger headlight and crunched my food and fender. luckilly one of my neighbors got a plate number for me.(great way to meet the neighbors, lol). ah well i suppose this is enough ranting for tonight. sorry for the long post guys, lol.

0.1 columbian rainbow boa (big momma)
1.0 betta (buddha)
0.0.3 crazy little field mice
1.0 pain in the @** cat (purdy)
0.0.1 kuhli loach
0.0.1 algae eater
constantly changing amount of fancy/feeder guppies
and growing...

Sorry to hear about the string of bad luck but look at it this way, if that license plate works out, somebody is gonna have some explaining to do in front of a judge - hit and run!!

19.19 BCI
And those are only the breeders

lots.lots.lots feeder mice and rats

that's what i'm hoping for dave! lol. he did flee the scene of an accident. i might have to be a d!ck and bring him to court for damages too. although it's not that much damage and it won't cost too much to replace the headlight assembly.

I'd drag him into court, no sense you having to pay for it out of your pocket. And bring an estimate to have the work done, not just the parts!!

thanks aubrey, it did get a little better. the same person who i was supposed to get the BCI from ended up giving me 5 10gal aquariums, so atleast i have better housing for my mouse breeding project i'm working on. and although i know they're not the best housing for BRB's i'm gonna set my babies up in them temporarily until i set up more permanant reptile housing across the board.

for instance I was in a wreck in Oct. '06 and my back is still hurting. I am involved in a custody battle at the moment, I make almost half of what I use to make, just found out last week that my Accord got a little bit of water in the motor during Hurricane Katrina and started driving again a few months back and now it is too late for a claim so I need a motor and have no car for a few weeks and to top it off I still owe Dave money so it could always be worselol

i hear ya. i really am doing well these days when i consider the things others are dealing with right now (or even some of the things that were going on with me over the last month.) everything just had me kinda bummed out at the time of posting the original message. good luck with your situation though, sounds rough man.
