Does this count for observation?

The latest exotic to appear on my block. Very healthy looking spiny, about two feet long. Amazing how the color blends with the tree he has picked out to call home. Has been hanging out there for about a week now. First one of these I’ve seen in our neighborhood in Ft. Lauderdale, but this is about two blocks from the river (where the green iguanas are very common).

Not up on my spiny iguana I.D. ability. Is this a Mexican or Blacktail?

Although you guys are being inundated with the non natives, it would be cool to catch/photog them! I bet you don't even need a hunting/fishing license. do you? We are being overwhelmed by the horrible Mediterranean gecko here in Texas and it is eating all of our cattle, causing beef prices to soar! They are also impervious to hydrogen bombs and lasers, so we are screwed, lol!
