what should my next snake be?

babystolemydingo Dec 01, 2007 12:24 PM

I have 1.2 balls, and Im really itching for a new snake. the male is a pastel the females are normals.

I think i should get another female.

I am considering adding a female mojave, female spider, or a pastel 100% HET for Pied or maybe even a female lesser Platinum. (what would you get if you bred a lesser to a pastel anyway?)

What would you add if you were me? Im open for suggestions w/ explanations

Man... I truly got the ball bug!!! I just keep itching and itching for another ball!!!! They are like potato chips LOL

I know how you feel with the ball pythons. After I got my first one, I just couldn't get enough of them. I still just want more and more but I've realized that I can't really afford alot of them being that I'm just 16. Oh well, when I'm out on my own, I'll be able to have more.
I like the idea of the lesser female. If you breed her to your male pastel, you could end up with lesser pastels which are pretty cool. Though, a female spider would be good too b/c you can produce bees with that pairing. But then again, you can never have enough female pastels. So, if I were you, I would start off with a female pastel and then go to a spider.
I probably didn't help much but just get what you like the most. Let us know what you decide to do. Good luck.

Since you listed it as an option, I would go with the 0.1 Pastel Het. Piebald.

It'll take you a few years to raise her up to breeding size but that will be more than enough time to save up and purchase a male either Het. Piebald or Pastel Het. Piebald that way by the time he is ready to breed your female will almost be ready also.

If you have ever seen a Pastel Pied... this decision would be easy. Gorgeous animals.

....you can't go wrong.
