My friend had his snake shed in pieces. We were able to get most of it off by putting her in a bowl with a damp papaer towel and she got it off herself. Her eyes still look like ther is some on them. Is there a way to lift the lids off without doing any damage to her? I she has been rubbing them so much and I am scared she might hurt herself trying to remove them.thanks.

My inside problems only effect the outside world....And I am ok with that.

First I would try damp bagging the snake, tie it up in a snake bag that is very damp, put this bag back in the cage so it will keep warm. Leave it alone for some time, a couple of hours to start and see how it looks. If this does not work I'd carefully inspect to see if there was an edge I could get ahold of to manually remove the cap. I've heard of using scotch tape biut would not do this until last resort. I got one in several years back with crusty retained caps and crappy skin. I did NOTHING manually, only provided a nice damp environment at the right temps and several sheds later out crawled Savannah. One of my nicest female BRB's.

Since you're here I'm assuming you have a rainbow boa...also taking a leap that it is a BRB. If so, give it a damp moss box like ...

For my adults I make a “damp hide” from a sweaterbox size tub with two access holes in one side. I put 1 inch of peat moss and one inch of green moss. Both kept nice and damp.

As soon as your born you start dying
So you might as well have a good time

ALRIGHT!

Scanning the scene
in the city tonight
We're looking for you
to start up a fight
There's an evil feeling
in our brains
But it's nothing new
you know it drives us insane

Running,
On our way
Hiding,
You will pay
Dying,
One thousand deaths
Running,
On our way
Hiding,
You will pay
Dying,
One thousand deaths
Searching,
Seek and Destroy
Searching,
Seek and Destroy
Searching,
Seek and Destroy
Searching,
Seek and Destroy

There is no escape
and that's for sure
This is the end we won't take any more
Say goodbye
to the world you live in
You've always been taking
but now you're giving

Running,
On our way
Hiding,
You will pay
Dying,
One thousand deaths
Running,
On our way
Hiding,
You will pay
Dying,
One thousand deaths
Searching,
Seek and Destroy
Searching,
Seek and Destroy
Searching,
Seek and Destroy
Searching,
Seek and Destroy

Our brains are on fire
With the feeling to kill
And it won't go away
Until our dreams are fulfilled
There is only one thing
On our minds
Don’t try running away
`cause you’re the one we will find

Running,
On our way
Hiding,
You will pay
Dying,
One thousand deaths
Running,
On our way
Hiding,
You will pay
Dying,
One thousand deaths
Searching,
Seek and Destroy
Searching,
Seek and Destroy
Searching,
Seek and Destroy
Searching,
Seek and Destroy
