Paper towel or Cell Sorb

MannyRottie Dec 01, 2007 09:14 PM

I have used both and I love the paper towel case its cheap and easy to buy. The cellsorb was great cause clean up was easier cause all you had to do was spot clean. Some of my hatchlings love to hide under the paper towel. Kinda weird. Should I keep the paper towel or should I switch back to the cell sorb? Thanks

I use newspaper for adults, and paper towels for hatchlings. The only thing I would be careful about with paper towels is to make sure the snake does not grab the paper towel with the rat when feeding. They can and WILL swallow a paper towel if part of it gets grabbed with the rat. I know from experience. It's not fun trying to pull a whole paper towel out of a 300g female het clown.

I also use newspaper for adults, paper towels for hatchlings until there first shed and feeding and then I put them on newspaper.

Works better than both papertowels & cellsorb.
