anyone keep prairie kings here?

i just got interested with those kings so i picked up a '07 albino female that is about 6 inch long. neat snake. i been reading that they thrive in room temp just like black milks?

You really would be better off with some sort of tank heating, UTH would be the best way to go. A dimmer at the least, but a thermostat would be a better way to control substrate temps. Temps at the high end should be in the mid 80's and mid 70's at the low end. Most Mole and Prairie kings like to burrow (at least mine do/have) so some exta substrate would be nice!

I have 1 00 albino male now, but I will get more I just keep losing females for some reason.

what do you mean you keep losing females? i have a female lol. well just fed her today and she took it with no problem what a great snake. now i gotta find me a male het or just albino.

1 escaped, 1 dehydrated as I gave her a shallow dish the clucth prior she laid in the water instead of nest box. I didn't check on her for 2 days because I went away came back she was dead & the eggs dried. I have to get some females & breed them again.
