I just saw one of these for sale for $950? It looked like a normal ball to me.
Someone, please help me on this one.

"Enchi" is a form of pastel, named after the area where it was first collected!
A color and pattern mutation with a known super.
Enchis are a great project - probably hard to catch their coloring in photo but very different from normal - if I remember correctly the Enchi is one of the ones that "get better with age". The super and mixes are awesome.

I think it was the one we have listed, and you are right on with hard to get a good picture of.
The pattern is not very different but the color is very different, a weird hard to describe color and contrast. I never thought much of them until I saw the ones NERD had at a show, and the supers he had were crazy.
Check out the stinger bee, and enchi- inferno pics on there site, to see how sweet the combo's are.

Yeah the picture just might not have picked up the colors. It really just looked normal to me. Then I saw $950, and my jaw dropped.
Thanks for the info.

I do not regard them as a Pastel but their own morph. The name is from an area in Africa and since it was yellow and orange the Pastel term. They have some great potential!

He's ok - yawn.....
I keed, I keed! You can have Kara hit me for that one!
I'm enjoying seeing what you're doing with the Enchi's Kev!

The abnormal, banded pattern of the Enchi Inferno almost looks like lettering of some sort.
Congrats on another winning 'recipe'...

Make up your mind ! You call them pastels in your book .
Terry,
I was NOT the person that produced them in captivity first, I did not name them either. The were called Enchi Pastels, it is not my right to rename them! I do believe that the morph should not be confused with Pastel since they are quite a bit different..
I personally think "Enchi" is perfect.

Here's a few pics of an '07 Enchi we recently picked up. He wasn't very happy about having his picture taken.
