it might be a browned out one. happens to a lot of anerys.

Here you can see my anery is a little browned compared to its dbl het sib.

But I personally wouldneed more/bigger pics to tell.

Great comparison.
Thanks.

That kinda goes to the previous discussion on recessive traits having "tells", noticable on the phenotype.

Actually my dbl het female is one of the reasons I made that topic. I have noticed with het anerys that a lot of them show a certain amount of yellow and het albinos has been place by having the "light bulb" look to the eyes. She has both of those traits and the breeder guarantees the genetics in her. Heres a couple more pics they are a few months old but she only gets better looking imo.

notice the yellowish tint to her and the eyes.

My male Anery has the same eyes :D

I know what you mean about the eyes. I have a 50% Suriname that's 66% het. Albino. I can tell by her eyes she's going to prove out het.. I'll be shocked if I'm wrong. There's a lot to be said for that yellow, too. That is such a dominant color in the Albino. That same poss. het. 50% Suriname girl has that greenish yellow undertone to her background color. Another good sign. I sold two of her sisters that didn't have that look. They looked normal. Nice clean snakes, but very normal looking.

Dont forget most snows yellow out too. From frosty to banana in 1.5 yrs lol Its something to play with I think.

Yes, I see a lot of photos here. Last time I was this seriously involved, there were just a very few double recessive morphs out. Snow was just beginning to come on. Things have expanded tremendously. So much I'm unfamilliar with. So much to learn.

From that pic, it looks like one. However, if you just bought it as a normal, and not as an anery, you'd almost have to prove it out. There's been some "false anerys" sold in the classifieds, just dull normals that aren't genetic. Breed it to a DH ghost and hope for some anerys and ghosts in the litter. There's other ways obviously, but a DH ghost is almost the same cost as an anery, but you get much more variety in the litter...hypos, anerys, ghosts, etc. vs. just anerys. Good luck
