I'm not sure what size the v35 are, but I don't normally move my females to cb70 until they are 1000-1200 grams. Ball pythons like tight spaces. Hope this helps.
In my experience, it's best to start them in the larger tubs. I know lots of folks say they want a tight and secure cage, but I've had problems when moving them from small tubs to approprate sized tubs.
I would move them asap and keep them feeding well. Fasting is not uncommon when moving them to new enclosures.
Good luck.

I start hatchling in 32 qt. Sterlites. If they don't feed well I move them to 15 qt tubs. I don't like stressing them out by moving them. Most of the time, they do very well. I have some pastel het pieds that I hatched in mid July that are 700 grams now. It's worked for me.
Good luck.

I have to run out and buy a scale cause mine broke. The v35 is half a cb70 tub. I have my female in there. I was thinking of moving them up. It was feeding day today and my 2 larer females that I want to move up did not eat so I am probably gonna move them up tonight. Then hopefully they will eat next sunday. What do you think? Thanks
everyone has their own opinions on this and mine is smaller is better. If you think about their natural environment, they are usually found in holes in the ground or termite mounds and these areas are tight. We start our hatchlings in 12qt tubs. At about 500g they get moved up to 32qt tubs. Only the largest females get moved up to 41qt/cb70 tubs. We have females that are over 2000g in 32 qt tubs and they do just fine. they are able to thermoregulate and get what little exercise a bp wants. this system has worked very well for us and we too have animals taht were born this year that are over 700g.

Josh, I totally agree with you.....do what works best for you and your animals. I actually have a female that's 4000 in a 32 qt. She does well in there and I don't want to screw things up. I have any larger tubs than the 32 and I think they are fine. What works for some may not work for others.
