No ill effects from the treated timbers at all!
My male is very big, my females and my younger male all will get a bit bigger.
I keep them in the minimum sized enclosure that I would recommend for a pair of this species.

Basic husbandry, 75 to 90 degree ambient temps a couple of basking sites around 135 degrees.
Humidity between 75% and 100%, large water basin, cool hides, hot hides and some silk foliage because I like it!

Anything else I can help you with just ask Brother.

how big is big i understand they get around 4 ft right and r kind of skiddish but eventually get used to you right so a minimum cage requirement for two adults would be like 8x4x4 right witha water feature like 3x2 that sounds right to me what does everyone else think

My enclosure is 6'L,2'W,3'H.
My water basin (small mortar tub) is 2'2"L by 18"W.
Half full it hold 3 gallons.
My male is under 4'!
