Of course, you should quarantine the new animal for some time to make sure it is ok and, as mentioned earlier, doesn't pass on something to your current pet.
Another thing you should be concerned about is the size of the two animals. The further apart their weights, the more likelihood that you may have a problem with their compatibility.
Two males in the same enclosure will most likely show aggression toward each other. However, I think it is a very under rated fact that females, can be territorial and can show some of the same aggression as males. Usually this is not the case as males and females usually get along but again, once they are introduced, you should really keep an eye on the two.
Another point I would like to make is that if the female is between 30 and 50 grams, you should keep these two separated. If they are kept together and between these weights, they will probably breed. Females should NOT be bred below 50 grams. If they are, they will drop some of their weight as they lay eggs and may not recover due to her small size. Even though this is the 'off season' for leopard breeding, this still should be a consideration.
