well 1st have you checked her for mites and other diseases or parasites she may have? and well if you introduce them and watch to make sure they dont fight they should be fine if they dont but whn you put them 2gether watch them closely. hope everything goes smoothly

Yeah I know about the whole quarantine period I was just wondering if people had any special tricks or anything they would do to make them acclimate to each other.

Of course, you should quarantine the new animal for some time to make sure it is ok and, as mentioned earlier, doesn't pass on something to your current pet.

Another thing you should be concerned about is the size of the two animals. The further apart their weights, the more likelihood that you may have a problem with their compatibility.

Two males in the same enclosure will most likely show aggression toward each other. However, I think it is a very under rated fact that females, can be territorial and can show some of the same aggression as males. Usually this is not the case as males and females usually get along but again, once they are introduced, you should really keep an eye on the two.

Another point I would like to make is that if the female is between 30 and 50 grams, you should keep these two separated. If they are kept together and between these weights, they will probably breed. Females should NOT be bred below 50 grams. If they are, they will drop some of their weight as they lay eggs and may not recover due to her small size. Even though this is the 'off season' for leopard breeding, this still should be a consideration.

thanks guys like isaid im new to the world of leos i have had geckos and thats why im waiting before i buy a male ecause the female was not fed properly and is underweight for her age. she is only 45 grams i want to wait until she is about 55 or 60 before introducing a male i may buy a male when shes 50 and then by the time im done with quarantine she should be a good weight and i can try introducing them. I hope it all goes good. (one more question , the breeding season is from like january to august or something like that right?)

You may have better luck placing her in his enclosure than the other way around, when the time comes. Breeding season runs from anywhere between Jan-April through Aug-Oct. Once both are off quarantine, and of suitable size, if they get along, you may keep them in a large enclosure together, though my females tend not to lay if there's a boy around.

It seems as though you have the right plans. Good job.
Breeding season can be, as earlier posted, Jan-March through Aug-Oct.
Also, I always introduce my males into the female enclosure. I feel this gives a bit of an advantage to the female.
