Adult Pair of Ball Pythons (new LARGE picture)...

dustinthompson Aug 24, 2003 09:05 PM

This is a new picture of my adult pair of ball pythons (both just recently shed). The male is the "hypo chocolate" or "burgundy" and the female is the other. The male has no black on him. Let me know what you think, and thank you for looking.

You can tell that the male is the male because you can compare the tails. You took good pic so that both tails are showing. You can tell that the male has a longer taper. The male is on the right.

I like the color of the male. But I like short stubby tails of female. I know it sounds like a funny thing to distinquish a favorite based on tail. However, the whole reason I like Ball Pythons is that they don't have those long tails that other snakes have. I love the fat chubby short bodies of ball pythons. Females have even better, shorter tails. That is why I love female ball pythons.

Cheers. It is a nice pair! I am in the process of considering building a rack so I can buy more female ball pythons!

cheers.
