...I know he's an Alterna but, he allowed this close-up so I couldn't pass up the opportunity...

This is my 2005 Juno Road male from Ric (thanks Ric)...Always the chow hound and growing like a weed...Hopefully he'll be "UP" for this year...We'll see.

Adam,

I agree, nothing wrong with waiting until they are "mature" enough to sire offspring...Not as critical with the males (sperm count and viability) as it is with the females but, I think it is best to have patience and evaluate their maturity based on your own observations over time (experience)...

Not worth losing animals just to make money in my opinion...My animals are far more important to me for numerous reasons than that.
