the_fletch Dec 03, 2007 08:41 PM

I have two young Ball Pythons in a 20 gallon tank!

they get along great and haven't been any trouble...

But One Day they got Out and I found them together behind a book shelf.

One was fine but the other had a piece of tape stuck to her!

I gently took the tape off but it looked sore underneith

Now One seems Hell Bent on getting out of his tank again and the other is in the water almost all day!!!!!

Any one seen anything like this??????

First of all you need better security for your enclosure. What kind of enclosure do you use. The one that is trying to get out obviously liked his freedom. The one in the bowl is probally the one with the tape on it. If the spot where the tape was is still irritated use some antibiotic cream on it a couple times a week. That will help, then on the next shed it should go away. Once the active one figures out you have really secured his enclosure he will settle down.
