What time of year did you put the adults together?
Did you hibernate them them prior? If so, for how long?

Hi Randal:

I introduced the adults in August and the male was interested right away, but he took his time and lived to tell the tail. The only time I saw them copulating was Oct. 15th. I don't do anything special with these guys but my room has a winter night drop of 65 degrees that everybody gets.

Congratulations Al on the babies. I am having trouble gauging the size of these. Are they baby eyelash viper size or newborn copperhead size?

That was close but not my closest call. I don't put those out on video, I shudder when I look how close some were.

Thanks...more on the Copperhead size. B. caudalis are like eyelash size, which make them real buggers to feed. 2/10 that tried feeding last night took f/t pinks right off.
