Steve, what kind of genetic maze have you unleashed on us now?
While I appreciate all of the various Lucys that have been hatched out over the past few seasons... THAT snake has got to be the pinnacle everyone else has been aiming for.

Pure "Pied" white? Finally. Keep us updated on that one as it gets older... I'd love to see how that white fills in.

"Pure "Pied" white? Finally."

RDR actually made a pure white pied earlier this year as well by breeding a lesser het pied to a visual pied.

Is the Lesser pied a possibility for the combo Steve?

I forgot all about RDR's creation. I'll have to go back and look at pics of that animal again. I think it'll be hard to compare the two since the pics are taken under different lighting conditions. I don't remember exactly what the eyes looked like. Either way, Steve has one hell of an animal there.

What through me is the black eyes and red pupils.

That might be where the black eyes with red pupils come from. Just a thought.

Awesome! I love that clean white look.

Take care,

Its beautiful, it looks so clean and the eyes add such a nice contrast. The black eyes with red pupil remind me of a superfire also. So, what are the mutations of some of the possible sperm donors?

avdnco Dec 04, 2007 09:31 PM

Awesome Steve!
I love that red pupil!

Sensational! Can't wait to hear when you figure out the genetics . . . . Becasue of the black eyes, I would think there must be fire somewhere, but who knows, there may be another yet unidenified morph that produces black eyed lucys.

Congrats!
