Where to find feeder toads

melisssss Dec 04, 2007 02:55 PM

Say you might have to go this route...where would you find feeder toads? I live in PA and finding toads in the winter is pretty darned impossible.

You would think someone somewhere has to be breeding them and selling them right??? Am I crazy?

for the amount of work they would cost about 10ea thats why no one doe's this its not profitable. easer to catch wild caught and sell those. i tried one year and had about 300 and the brown anoles ate most of them in the screen enclosure.

glades herp farm has them for 3 bucks. I would buy a few and keep them for scenting. If you can't get on scented right away feed some to hold off untill it takes scented.
