how do i use it. i know its not just plug in and go. if someone can put me in the right direction on how to set this stuff up thanks.

When I purchased some it came with directions. The wiring is simple enough. You will probably need to purchase foil tape to hold it down.

Let me add that I would recommend buying the clips and plastic covers sold for use with the product. They're very difficult to comeby in most local stores I've checked. I soldered mine but found it to be more trouble than it's worth. If you let the bars get too hot they seperate from the plastic and basically ruin that section of tape. Of course if your good at soldering (or don't mind playing around with it for a bit) and prefer that method than go for it. If I had to do it again I would probably buy the clips and save myself the trouble.
