I like the idea of top and bottom doors on a cage that large.
I have a strong preference for sliding doors for most species. The last time I built a hinged door was when I needed the security to house live-bearing venomous snakes. In that case I had acrylic doors that closed into a recessed area in a face frame.
But there is absolutely nothing wrong with hinged doors and many if not most keepers prefer them. I don't understand it but I don't disagree with it either.
Only word of warning if you're considering hinged doors is how to deal with them in large cages. The amount of space you'll need to swing them open and out of the way has to be considered. You should also consider the weight of the doors as I have heard of cages being easy to tip when large doors are swing open only 45* from the cage front. Probably won't be a problem with your cage but I thought I should mention it.
Lastly, if you don't go with top and bottom doors then you may have sliding issues with doors that are significantly taller than they are wide. I think the rule for plastic track is no taller than 2x the width but I have tried that and did not like how the doors worked. If you decide to do that then consider some of the high dollar roller track.
