Yet another great atricle.

I didn't realise you had egyptians...I knew you had the giants and some of the smaller breeds...

Thank you. I just got my copy and it is a bitter sweet reminder.

I just lost that adult that is pictured with the baby. I had her close to 15 years. In that time there was almost zero growth but she was my most productive female. She's the one that produced the Albinos.

I've been keeping Egyptians for about 18 years but I'm no where near the most successfull with them although I did hatch out over 60... that was luck.

The one person who was mentioned at the end has to be the most successful with this species because he is the only one who has lost only 2 animals since starting to work with them close to the same time I did and he consistantly produces babies every year.

And then there's Bill... the lucky SOB... (he knows I'm kidding) He seems to have keyed onto something but only time will tell but I think his 'luck' will continue.

The Egyptian can be a heartbreaker but some people have a knack with this species. I can only think of one or two people who still have that knack... I'm not one of them.

Again, thanks.

btw... I'm having that female freeze dried. It was my last WC Egyptian.

Do you have any idea why or what they died of, Because i know you started with a good sized group.
