Kansas 2007, DUW

I took alot of trips out to Kansas this year, here's what i found.

Great Plains Narrowmouth Toad Gastrophryne olivacea
Kiowa County April, 2007
In late April I roadcruised a road and found about 8 Western Massasaugas

2 Ground Snakes Sonora semiannulata

Texas Horned Lizard Phrynosoma cornutum
Kiowa County April, 2007

Ringneck Snake Diadophis punctatus arnyi

Great Plains Rat Snake Elaphe emoryi
Russell County, May 2007

Later that night it rained horribly and dropped in temp.

And the big suprise(to me at least)was this guy found around 10, with a torrential rain and chilling wind

After this we headed over to Geary County(which was soaked)

I have always wanted to make it up to Kansas, especially for the checkerboard patterned speckled kings! Nice post, I will have to get on it, I guess, lol!
