scent glands
they look external, smaller than a bb, semetrical, where would i find information on the anatomy of crocodilians. thanks
They are referred to as "mandibular glands". There is an excellent book on the biology of crocodilians, but it is a bit pricey.
Crocodiles: Biology, husbandry and diseases.
