acrylic or glass dividers for semi-aquatic turtle

alimx Aug 24, 2003 10:36 PM

Right now I have a ton of rocks sloped up to my turtle's land, which is a plastic bin filled with substrate. I know I've seen tanks with vertical dividers attached with silicone (I think). Is there a place online I can order these from? Thanks!

don't know about online,
but i always just had mine cut at hardware store (more recentely lowes or home depot) and then siliconed them in.
seems silly to pay for shipping on an item like this unless you live in a remote locale.

Is there a specific kind of silicone that I should use? I don't want to mess with toxic stuff leaching into the water.

Thanks!
Alison

Just use aquarium sealant. Its what everbody who does this seems to do. Its safe, just stinky, and tsakes ome time to set.
