Nice looking snakes.
I hope you are not seriuosly housing them together. Retics and hogs want different set ups and should definately not be kept together on all kinds of levels. Hogs are best kept singly, I do not even keep males and females of same size together.

No..No, just till they mate. I want to be the first to have a clutch of Hogticulated Pythons...once I catch them doing the "naughty", I will put the Hog back where it was before, with my 4' Eastern Indigo.

2.2.1 GTP
0.0.1 Western Hognose
0.1.0 Eastern Indigo
1.0.0 Dwarf Retic

Now that's funny stuff!

Wow! If you can accomplish that, more power to you, but until then......BAN!

I actually don't find that in the least funny. The husbandry requirements for each snake is entirely different. You are going to end up with a sick snake, or some sort of hybrid where one ends up inside the other.

I'm pretty sure everything the OP said was intended as joke.

you can't get them to breed they're such different sizes, also as other people have mentioned the housing requirements are so different.

here's what you do to get a hognose python:

get a male hog to begin copulation with a female hog, at the money shot pull them apart (might need some metal tools to do this!) and capture the ejaculate in a turkey baster.

grab a full grown female retic and jam it up there.

in a few months you will have hognose pythons, which are delicious with capers and basmati rice.
