Last pearl shed tonight.......

rainbowsrus Dec 06, 2007 02:32 AM

The 8th pearl finally shed for me, I knew she'd be last since This is the one Tom had pics of since she had just shed for him.

Pearl (Pearl 2)

I'm blown away by these beauties, it's like a whole new BRB, And with having so many of them, it's WAY better than having a single different one like Genevieve who I hope I can reproduce. I'm certain I can make many more of these since the while litter looks like this!!

Now that I have just shed pics of all of them I thought I'd put them all together for all to enjoy / drool over. I've had to clean my drool enough every time I look at them...DUH...every day!!!!

Honestly, I think thay are all normals, really not seeing hypo in them, maybe unrefined hypo? Still, when combined I'm happy with the entire purchase....

Since you have Baroque and Apricot just let me have one of the others that is not so dear to you Dave Those things are awesome and what is the sex ratio cuz I can't remember?

rainbowsrus Dec 06, 2007 02:57 AM

2.6 that's enough for two trios and a pair of "extra" females to cross into the hypo and anery lines!!!!

Baroque and Pistachio are the males.

Well, is yet to be actually proven but with the entire litter showing the trait, I'm betting it's genetic!!! Two years from now they will be ready for breeding and I'll be producing as many as I can, two 1.2 trio's and 0.2 outcrossed into hypo and anery projects!!

Yeah, to me that was a no brainer, saw them and got right on the phone brokering the deal. That was the one in the ad BTW, the one that got me to buy them all. Bought the rest sight unseen!!

These first two pics are from the ad...

And these two were ones he sent me of the rest

What snake you talking about Frank? I didn't know he had an albino super motley but I know he had a Super Hypo Motley aka Red Devil premature (I think it was a week and a half early so it would of course had more color) and not quite sure what the other one was but could have been an Albino Super Motley heres the pic

and this is an adult albino motley

nice to see your screen name up there again buddy

FRoberts Dec 06, 2007 06:34 PM

to make an albino super motley...boa wise I got the ingredients to make some VERY nice red tails...better then nothing...but the albino super motley is mind boggling....I got a lot of nice animals...but still get A BIT envious at times lol

By the way nice to be here again...missed you guys..as gay as that sounds lol

THIS year it starts to get serious for me, I've got two litters in the oven, several more in the works and have not even started breeding the rainbows!!!!

I'll have super motleys maybe next year. Working toward coral sunglow super motleys!!!

Did I mention I have Jungles as well?

And a pair of striped salmon abys from basically Boas coming as soon as I pay them off!!

I'm having the time of my life right now and I just see it getting better and better!!!!!!

I don't think motley prices will skyrocket. I believe they will fall to about 2.5k next year for decent ones nothing nice those will prolly be 3.5k. The year after they will be about 2k and I think will stay there cuz next year there will be so many super motleys compared to what is out there in existence right now that the market will be flooded with them (normal motleys) so if you don't buy good stock you prolly won't sell to many but I myself want a hypo or salmon motley or at least het albino as these hold the potential for some real nice offspring in the future like some Red Devils or an albino and sunglow motely so I think the albino motley was 10k this year I say 8.5k next year and one more guess the super motleys were on sale for 18k I say 12 next year from big breeders. Prolly the coolest morph out there I think and it is so different looking. What kind do you want Tim?
Bob

TimS Dec 07, 2007 06:29 PM

this is all only my theroy and thougth nothign more

i want a base normal nice looking motley and make the rest from there more fun that way for me. also i think the prices will sky rocket due to the fact of i think the super motley with the right mixing will make solid blue solid purple solid red solid white solid yellow etc

in the ball world the fire ball wich looks normal when bred to another one makes a solid white snake with black and red eyes its a co dom morph now when a fire is bred to anythign else it lightens the color as it ages instead of darkens the biggest thign mnixed in with it is pastel and fire pastels go for a ton and the price of fires went up again since the new found mixing glory instead of only looking at it as another snake that makes white snakes.

strictly4fun Dec 07, 2007 06:53 PM

male in a couple of years. I would like to get a salmon motley to help save me one generation but prolly ain't willing to put that out cuz that will be anery money. Some normal motleys I like

and this one cuz I like it

TimS Dec 07, 2007 10:06 PM

you do pick the good ones only thing i dont like is what the hypo gene does tot he motley gene i dont like the reduced motley look to them if it even has one i have seen some that were nice but prefer none hypo motleys now the super motley hypo yeah diff story lol i love whom i get my boas from always great prices and better and better deals the more i buy lol and very understanding specialy when my bank acount goes empty and it takes longer than thoguth to pay when i already have the animal atleast half is payed off and makin payments lil by lil now
