Feeding baby savannah?

Brittbrat Aug 24, 2003 11:01 PM

I have a savannah I bought in April and is 6" long. The only thing he will eat are crikets. Someone I know said I should be feeding him other things but he won't anything else. What are the diets for your baby savannahs. He is very healthy and alert.
Thanks
Brittany

You can try feeding him pinkies or chopped up mice do to his small size..works very well for me so far and also you mite want to look into feeder roaches..you can contact Mike Stefani for them.hope this helps.

Honestly, if he is eating crix (dusted sometimes) I would be happy. You can try offering stuff now and then....pinks, roaches, waxies, mealworms. But bugs is the best thing for a baby sav. So I wouldn't worry too too much.
