Last night was feed night and the Cal king was under his hide. I wanted to see how long it would take him to track down his dinner with me moving around trying to get the right angles he found his dinner in less then 5 min.
The below pics were taken in macro using compact florescent lighting , not that great but you get the idea.
Last night yielded another interesting feed moment my yearling Hondo was soaking and took his meal and consumed his meal under water never seen a king do that before.. sadly I didn't have the camera on hand, but below is a shot of him coming out of his water bowl for dinner.
