Gecko eating but not gaining weight

Hi i have a blizzard leo that i saved from a pet shop. she eats and eats and eats she wont gain any weight could it be a parasite? any other ideas to fatten her up ?

How old is she? If she's still a juvenile, then she's probably putting all those calories into growth rather than "fattening up." If it's an adult and is too thin, then yes, there could be a problem. Vet check-ups, or at least fecal exams, are a good idea in general with a new animal, as they can confirm or rule out parasites and help you pinpoint any other problems while they're still solvable.

Time, they don't fatten immediately. It takes a bit of time. A skinny or juvie takes time to fatten. Your leo is probally actually gaining weight but to slow for you to tell by vision. If parasitic which I doubt they won't usually eat with zest or will have stool problems. Is it going to the potty? What goes in comes out and if feeding crix they produce a bit of waste. It may take 2 months to really see a great weight gain on a starved animal. Fat tails are from excess fat being reserved, a leo alot of times has to build alot of muscle before it can even think of building fat reserve. As long as it is eating good don't worry at all.
