Seriously, but it.. read it cover to cover (twice if you can) and you'll be fine.

Get the book as Julian suggested. Greg Maxwell also has some very well-written care sheets that probably answer most of your questions at his website.
A question like yours that is too general is very difficult to answer. If you have a specific question it can be answered here.
