Or is EVERYBODY out of feeders, its like damn near every online frozen rodent site i go to has NO small rats. If they do they want like $2 a rat for it (which is like going to a pet store)

GAH Im starting to spend a ton of money on live ones from the store.

Problem is he does not sell for the most part......ME,

my garage racks are full of rats, all that my snakes can eat and then some!! One of the reasons I breed my own feeders, I control the production and always have a variety of sizes to choose from!!

About 10 years ago I breed my own rodents, man what a mess.. As a kid I had pet rodents (Ginnie Pigs and Gerbils)and thought rats/mice would be as easy, not so!!!

I kept my rodents in the garage and would sometimes loose some rodents over the winter, also if you don't stay on top of cleaning it gets smelly quickly.

When I was teenager before rodents were sold via the internet I worked for a rodent breeder and I don't think I will EVER breed my own rodents again, I stopped breeding after that.

If i had the room, the time, and the patience I still wouldn't do it again I really dislike rats, once you clean thousands of them you get tired of the SMELL!!!

You need to get some of these...

Three weeks between cage cleanings and they still don't smell (at least nowhere as much as lab rats). I still can't get over it! I actually didn't believe the guy that sold them to me, I figured I feed them out to my snakes within a week.

Now if I can get the females to pop, I'll be all set!

Seriously... I got so low on feeders I had to buy some from the pet store until RodentPro was allowing sales again. Then it took 3 weeks to get the order because of Thanksgiving. Ugh... I think I'll stock up before winter next year.

it will cost you $4.62 with tax is the cheapest around here unless you work for Petco I pay about $4.35 with tax (and a $2 off survey coupon every time)so I get a small there and feed it to my double het female about every 10 days or so and I spend $4.62 for about a medium rat almost large for my '05 bci every three weeks. No one sells female rats unless they are small but I don't really want to start my breeding stock with those so Dave can you move closer so I can have some real healthy rodents from you pleeeeeaaaassse
