Well, I just wanted to update on the frog I purchased from PetCo that was in bad condition. Just as a reminder, this is the one that had a huge ulcer in her arm that was open enough that her muscle was showing from underneath. I really didn't believe it was going to heal without putting a stitch or two through it...it was huge, but after finishing her medications last week and letting her heal over the weekend, it's completely healed over. Definite answer to prayer with the aid of medicine from my vet. She is doing much better and after about another week of isolation, I will be putting her in the tank w/ the other frogs. I treated her for parasites already even though we weren't positive she actually had them-just as a precaution, and that will take her quarantine to 3 weeks. I'm very excited to put her in with some friends. I believe out of the 4 I have, only 1 is male. Anytime I turn on the TV or play my guitar, or there's a helicopter flying over our house, he just goes off. The other ones only made noise when they were handled by the vet, or if they're being bothered by another frog. Cute little guys. I hope to get a picture of my little family and let everyone see. All 4 are different colors and have a different look. But again...this post was mainly to let you guys know that I have saved another frog from certain death...and will continue doing so!
