Wow! The Thomas county animal is smokin!
Is that a single tipped scale I see on one of the Cherry animals? ugh....
Jeff
(I'm teasing old Dell here and bet ya he's running to the cages to find the single tipped scale)
Damit Jeff, thats not funny. I just spent three hours getting crapped on under a bright light w/ a magnifying glass going over every inch of the Pales I posted.
I had an old girlfriend do this to me years ago. Very invasive, but enjoyable. I don't think the Pales liked it though. Opps!
Did I say that out loud, again? I gotta stop doing that.
Here is Carbon co. MT Pale that Cole G. has in his collection, that has plenty of newspaper tipping. The tipping doesn't hurt how nice looking this female is at all, IMO. One of my favorite Pales in his collection

This Yellowstone co. female has her fair share of newspapering, but is still great looking Pale. Maybe not a screamer, but nice looking in her own right.

Cherry co. female. This is the most tipped up Pale in my collection, she eats like a champ, and pops out nice looking neonates.

One of her neonates.

O.k., just a few more photos without my yammering on about anything.

Thomas co. female!
How big are they right out of the egg?
-RG

RG,
That Thomas co. was produced by Cole, so he may have something to say about the size of it out of the egg. But I belive it was around 5 or 6 grams. Pretty big really. Alot of our Pale breeders seem to be on the larger side of Pales. So we tend to get bigger eggs and bigger neonates.
I don't mind a litte pissant neonate, but larger neonates tend to start feeding quicker. ( this is my "duh" statement for the day)
Thomas co. NE

Hey Dell, very nice corss section of multistrata!
I've seen a few Pales in Thomas County...Hell, that's about the easiest place in NE to find em if you ask me...

Great series, Dell! Those Cherry Co., NE animals are smokin'. I agree with Jeff... better go check for the single black scale tip. LOL The Thomas Co. neonate looks healthy. I've always loved the black crossovers on that snake - sort of like a black & white hornet.

Love the Cherry Counties, those are stunning little guys.
