Feeding Frustration

pythonpapa Aug 24, 2003 11:36 PM

My baby blood ate 5 straight meals of f/t large rat fuzzies, now he's refused the last two meals. I am doing everything exactly the same way, and he comes right up and "sniffs" them, but then he backs away into his hide. Any suggestions? Has anyone else had this happen? He doesn't look like he's going to shed. Maybe he just isn't that hungry? I don't know.

You say that he backs into his hide, well next time just put the rat in the hide! My blood will only eat frozen/thawed when she is in her hide, although she does eat fresh killed in the open. You are attempting to feed him every week right?
