Thanks, bro. Due date is July 14th, so I don't really see myself doing much herping after the beginning of June...we'll see. No Sky Island trips during the monsoons for me next year.

On the plus side, I will have my own little herper to train in a few years. And guess who gets cage cleaning duty?

That's some cool stuff. That desert king is almost a nigrita.

BTW - I went to an interesting talk that showed that those combatting Gilas are often combatting females, rather than males. This was based on a large captive colony where the males never fought, but the females frequently did fight violently. The guy was suprised by this and wondered if the reports of male combat from the wild weren't females that had been assumed to be males.

Either way, awesome photo. That must have been very cool to see!
