Striping Question.... Co Dom??

byron.d Dec 07, 2007 05:55 PM

I think I heard somewhere that striping is a co dom trait....
Is this accurate??
I heard the same with the motley trait..... True?

I'm just sort of getting into corns after a good long time with kings and pits.

Thanks much for any replies.

No, they are recessive. Normal pattern trumps both. However if you breed a motley to a stripe then I believe stripe is dominate over motley instead of the offspring being het for both mot and stripe..........I think........I used to konw this stuff.............now it has become jumbled..........getting old I guess!!
