Back into Pits

Dniles Dec 07, 2007 08:54 PM

Well after nearly a 10 year break from working with sonorans and pines, I decided to get a trio of sonorans to work with again. I really enjoyed working with them in the past and I've always though the amel sonorans are one of the nicest looking amel colubrids out there. This should be a fun little project.

Male triple het
Female blizzard and female amel

Why did you ever stop working with them? Very nice trio by the way.

Thanks. I actually got out of snakes all together back then for a few years.

Yeah I went without any snakes for awhile myself. I must say, I like my life much better with snakes in it.

oh yeah those are nice. I'm curious as to why you got a female blizzard as opposed to a male blizzard? Seems like one male blizzard could serve several gophers of various morphs.
Enjoy,
Russ

Good point on the male, however I'm not too serious about producing numerous clutches of these guys in the future. I'm really more serious about breeding milks and my collection is heavy on milks, but just got this trio for kicks since I enjoyed having a few pits around before.
